La Ventana's Housing for Women
La Ventana offers FREE Housing to women in our Eating Disorder Day Treatment Program who live outside of the Thousand Oaks, California, area and cannot drive to and from the center on a daily basis. [A $100.00 per month fee will be charged as an administration fee.]
Our La Ventana Housing is literally a two minute walk from the La Ventana Treatment Center and is located in a luxurious complex in one of America’s safest cities. There is a pool that is heated year round, a jacuzzi, and a gym on location that is provided only for the residents of the complex.
Thousand Oaks was voted the 7th safest city in American by www.infoplease.com, and www.aneki.com and the 11th safest city in America by www.CNNmoney.com and Morgan Quinto press.
The housing complex is within walking distance to restaurants, movies, markets, and many shops. You can walk to the JANSS mall for shopping or entertainment. Some stores within walking distance are Golds Gym, Old Navy, TGI Fridays, Rite Aid, Linens n Things, MANN movie theater, Whole Foods, Radio Shack, Sears, Starbucks, El Torito, Baja Fresh, Buca De Beppo, Mimis Café, Subway, Sushi, Stuff Pizza, Vitamin Stores, Outback Steak, The Habit, Borders Books, Ross Dress for Less, Sears, Best Buy, and many other locations for your entertainment.
This is an excellent opportunity for women who want to maintain treatment while living on their own in our beautiful housing complex and maintaining a healthy lifestyle with positive choices and the daily feedback of the La Ventana professional staff.
